The First Born breathed life upon the bones that lay beneath rubble and vegetation, their bodies and skin forming before her very eyes. The dead had risen, barely breathing. They had not remembered their past, the only present thought being that their queen was standing before their very eyes, adorned with a crown of golden light. Except they lacked humanity, only skin and bones. There had been a little glint of life in their eyes, begging for light. They weren't sensible, though they followed given instructions to rebuild their own haven from the ashes of the ancients, following orders and becoming undead soldiers.

The first discovery of life was seen in The Rising, along with the Tribe. Woodland creatures were untainted, touched by the Sun-speaker's light, but the further they traversed towards Vellock Fortress, they found that all other creatures were infected with a strange disease; The Constance. A horrific festering thing, spreading for centuries during Avsland's stagnant darkness. They were unable to be eaten until both Deity's combined their abilities and cleansed the being, freeing its trapped soul.

Materials and demolished structures left behind were discovered, deemed fitting for a shelter. They took refuge under a still sun and started a village of their own in order to survive. Not long after they settled in the fortress, an enormous flood crashed into all as the moon descended, swallowing the light and bringing fourth the Moon-speaker from a beam of shadow. Seen as a bad omen, the Sun-speaker soothed the tribe and ensured them that this newcomer was not the cause, but instead a blessing.

They were bestowed the gift of Elemental control after this disaster, Sun God Aesa wanting the Tribe to succeed and giving them a means of taming the earth at their paws. Their humanity was restored by their elemental power, each member growing primal attributes, overtaken by their given element that was determined from the condition of their soul. Discovering their new power, all had combined what they could do and discovered that each element had also shown in different ways, some Aqua bending water while others lifted bubbles of light to heal any injury, another even freezing the rainfall.

As everyone went about life, constructing buildings with their powers, taming the animals and starting farms of crop, they even learned to use natural and artificial weather to their benefit. But little did they know something far more sinister than infected creatures loomed over Avsland. Things that they had forgotten.
